Active Listening

Description: In class we decided to create a movie to show our understanding of Active, Busy and Me Too Listening.


Big Idea: I learnt that to be Active Listening you have to make eye contact.

Feedback/Feedforward. I think you did a really good job, and I liked what you did for the example.

Next time you could try and make the movie shorter and talk a bit louder. Hannah G


Evaluation: I think I did really well working in a group. Next time I am going to try and make it shorter. I need to work on not fiddling with things when people are talking to me.

Treaty Of Waitangi Kahoot

Description:
In class we decided that we were going to do something about the Treaty of Waitangi. First we gathered info, then we made it into something that showed our understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi.

Big Idea:
I learnt a lot of facts like the Treaty was written in English then translated into Maori, and that there were more chiefs that refused to sign the treaty than kids in my class.

Feedback: I like the way you did it. Feedforward Next time you can put a photo. Azahra

Evaluation:
Overall I think I did really well at finding facts. Next time I think I will try a 3D model instead of a Kahoot.

I would rate myself at the Multi stage on the Rubric below because I gethered three or more facts but they weren't connected so it couldn't be relational, next time I will be aiming for that.

My OneWord

W.A.L.T: Set goals

2016 has arrived and I need to set goals for it. In class we have been learning about OneWord. OneWord is about thinking of one word that describes the way you want to spend the year, not only at home, but on the sports field, academically, and in your social life. My word is Consistency. I want to try to be more consistent in my learning, and also in my sport
